Our group efforts and our personal actions alike strive to further the factors which foster higher quality fisheries and to combat those which degrade them. Becoming aware of those factors in depth is a crucial part of our work. Educating ourselves, and where possible, the public at large must play an important role in our endeavors. Our positions on issues and our actions in stream maintenance and resource issues is based on the best available research information and is in keeping with National Trout Unlimited's goal of preserving cold-water fisheries. As Chapter members we also have the opportunity to broaden each other's appreciation of trout fishing and to have some fun. By bringing our individual skills and strengths to the group we can form a vital link in the effort to truly improve our environment and enjoy the rewards of important work done well.
